Crossing Barrier Broken
A local politician in Cologne presented the city in western Germany with its first crossing lights featuring women on Tuesday, March 10. The lights are intended to remind pedestrians of the 90th anniversary of German women gaining the right to vote as well as the 60th anniversary of a statute declaring equality between men and women.
